Pretending to Like Women
This gay mormon I knew in high school liked to pretend that he really liked girls, but we could all tell he wasn’t really attracted to us. He flirted like no one else, to the point that it started to creep us out. One night I was asking my friend Jeremy for a ride home and then my gay mormon friend raised his eyebrows suggestively and told me in this creepy tone of voice, “I’ll drive you home!” Blech! I know he was just trying to fit in, but I wished he would knock it off. He didn’t have to prove anything to us.
