Wiring an Addition to an Existing Home
We are contemplating putting an addition on to our existing house structure. Since this is a project we would like to attempt to do on our own, we understand that we will have to seek some electrical advice along the way. We need to find out if our existing service to the house is sufficient to power the addition also. We realize that the actual building of the addition can be completed entirely on our worn. However, tying the electrical work in will need to be contracted out to a licensed electrician. Electricity is not something that we feel comfortable with trying alone.
