Warm Wax, The Procedure

Waxing can be done at home, though mostly, this is done in waxing salons. The reason why professionals are much more preferred for the procedure is because it is faster, less painful, and more accurate.

The procedure begins with warm wax being applied to the skin being treated and then a paper is applied to it. When the wax cools and slightly hardens, it bonds to the paper. It is then ready to be pulled quickly from the skin, along with the hair and some dead kin cells. The warm wax procedure is effective because hair is removed from the follicle. This is also the reason why the hair does not regrow for up to four weeks at a time.
