Taking Steps To Avoid Identity Theft
My husband and I had a real scare just a few weeks ago. We opened up a major credit card bill and found that there were over six thousand dollars in unauthorized charges on that bill. They were complete mysteries to us both and with a little bit of investigating, we saw that our credit card number had been somehow taken and the charges were a hint about identity theft. We knew we had to cancel that card and take steps to be far more careful about how we handle our personal information in the future. It pays to be vigilant.
