Google and it’s Ties to Aptera

Aptera motors is a private company found by Mr. Steve Fambro. Mr. Chris Anthony is the co-founder and COO of the company. One of the investors is Google which has poured $2.75 million for Aptera car. The other investors are Idealab, Esenjay Petroleum Corporation, The Quercus Trust and Beall Family trust. The Assembling facility where the car is designed and assembled is at Vista, California and the composite facility where the resin infused shells are built is at Carlsbad, California. The company is accepting pre-orders from California residents and has planned to deliver first electric models in October 2009 and hybrid models in 2010.
