The Kids Told Us What chicken picking Really Means
The kids came home from school last week saying the same phrase over and over, and we thought they might have just picked up some funny new thing to say that did not really mean anything. As it was soon revealed, the kids learned about chicken picking on music appreciation day at school, and it is a very special type of guitar playing. The kids really adored the sound, and they said it is sort of like old time jazzy sounds mixed in with country music twang, and it all comes together sounding amazing. We are going to check it out since they did pique our interest in it now.
