Saathi Re, the story of Suman, a loving, dutiful, beautiful and idealistic daughter who passes as the ‘Ideal Indian girl’ living with her sisters in harmony and togetherness. However, behind the facade, peace and beauty, there is a little taint in Suman’s life and that is nightmares that she keeps getting. These nightmares are persistent and make her distraught. This story revolves around her efforts to make something of her life, shape her future and overcome the challenges that threaten to bring her down. Saathi Re falls into the category of drama romance and is aired on STAR One TV. It premiered in October 2006 and has over 300 episodes.
